Terms of Use

1. The service

TopIQ is a mobile app for taking IQ and EQ tests, storing your results and tracking your progress. It is free to use.

2. What the scores are and are not

The tests are built for self-assessment and curiosity. They are not a clinical or psychometric instrument.

• A score is not a medical or psychological diagnosis.
• Do not use a score as the basis for hiring, admissions or any other formal decision.
• The certificate is an in-app document. It carries no academic or professional standing.

3. Your account

• Accounts are created through Google sign-in and belong to one person.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to influence the leaderboard is not allowed.
• You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.

4. What you may not do

• Reverse engineer the app, or drive it with automated scripts.
• Copy and redistribute test questions.
• Inflate scores artificially or otherwise manipulate the leaderboard.
• Use a display name or picture that is abusive towards other users.

We may suspend accounts that break these terms without prior notice.

5. Intellectual property

The test questions, app design, logo and written content belong to TopIQ. Copying them or using them commercially requires written permission.

6. Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features, and the service may be briefly unavailable during maintenance.

7. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". We do not warrant that scores are accurate, that the service is uninterrupted, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. Decisions you make based on the app are your own.

8. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top is updated. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
