1. What we collect
TopIQ collects only what the service needs in order to work:
- Account details — your name, email address and profile picture, taken from your Google account when you sign in.
- Test data — the tests you take, your answers, your scores and when you took them.
- Technical data — device model, operating system version and app version, used for diagnosing crashes.
We do not collect payment card details, precise location, your contacts, or files stored on your device.
2. Why we use it
- To serve tests and calculate your scores.
- To keep your result history, so it is there on any device you sign in from.
- To build the leaderboard — your display name and score are visible to other users there.
- To find and fix bugs in the app.
Your data is not used for advertising and is never sold to third parties.
3. Who can see it
Inside TopIQ, access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. Outside of that, two processors are involved:
- Google — for sign-in (OAuth). Google only learns that a sign-in happened.
- Our hosting provider — operates the servers your data is stored on.
Your display name and score on the leaderboard are public. If you would rather not be identifiable there, change your display name in the app.
4. How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, all personal data is removed within 30 days.
5. Your rights
- Request a copy of your data.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and everything attached to it.
- Ask to be removed from the leaderboard.
Email hello@topiq.site and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we hold data from a child under 13, we delete it.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. We will tell you in the app about anything significant.
